The ninth-seeded Czech relied on strong serves and solid groundstrokes to beat the Argentine, who won 29 of 30 matches going into the final. - Serena Williams has pulled out of next week's Kremlin Cup because of an ankle injury. The WTA Tour announced Williams' withdrawal on Friday.
